Lattice Begins Samples of FPGAs for Embedded Vision Systems

Lattice announced on the 14th its CrossLinkPlus FPGA family for MIPI D-PHY-based embedded vision systems.

CrossLinkPlus is a low-power FPGA with on-device programmability and embedded flash memory hardware-based MIPI D-PHY and high-speed I/O for Instant On panel displays.
Lattice also provides ready-to-use IP and reference designs.
This enables developers to implement enhanced sensor and display bridging and aggregation, functional partitioning, and other common requirements for industrial, automotive, computing, and consumer applications.
The CrossLinkPlus FPGA family measures 3.5×3.5mm and operates at less than 300µW of power.
Peiju Chiang, product marketing manager at Lattice Semiconductor, said, “MIPI D-PHY is used in a variety of applications. “CrossLinkPlus combines the advantages of FPGAs with hardware and software specialized for vision applications, pre-verified IP, and reference designs,” he said.
Meanwhile, Lattice has already begun sampling for industrial and automotive applications.
