Future Car Latest Vehicle Technology Strategy Seminar and
Seminar Held on Latest Technologies and Commercialization Prospects for Eco-friendly Vehicles


The future car market, encompassing eco-friendly electric vehicles, hydrogen vehicles, and autonomous vehicles based on ICT and AI, is expected to lead the industry by 2030.

Accordingly, the MICE Forum will hold a seminar on the latest technologies related to autonomous driving and eco-friendly vehicles for two days from June 17 to 18 at Conference Room 303 of the aT Center in Yangjae-dong, Seoul.

The government predicts that smart city technology capable of processing big data in real time will emerge by 2030. This technology is also closely related to autonomous vehicle infrastructure.

The industry predicts that in the future, fully autonomous cooperative driving will become possible as information and signals are shared and operated between roads and vehicles.

In addition, eco-friendly vehicles are expected to continue growing and account for 20–30% of global car sales starting in 2030. Hyundai Motor Group has announced that it will invest a total of 41 trillion won by 2025 in future mobility technologies and strategic investments, including electric and hydrogen vehicles, autonomous vehicles, and connected cars.

The ' 2020 Future Vehicle Latest Autonomous Driving Technology Strategy Seminar ' to be held on June 17 will cover AI-based autonomous driving industry innovation, autonomous vehicle market and V2X trends, domestic and international autonomous driving shuttle technology and policy trends, EU Horizon 2020 AUTOPILOT international joint research and intersection safety service technology development, an examination of the current and future application possibilities of autonomous driving technology, and strategies to ensure the safety of autonomous vehicles.

The ' 2020 Seminar on Latest Technologies and Commercialization Prospects for Eco-friendly Vehicles, ' to be held on June 18, will cover topics such as the current status and prospects of electronic components for electric and hydrogen vehicles, the electric vehicle aftermarket and diagnostic technology, the commercialization prospects of the electric vehicle battery reuse business, technical issues and commercialization strategies for sulfide-based all-solid-state secondary batteries, and cathode materials for high efficiency and high performance of electric vehicle batteries.
