Byco Joins GSA, Focusing on Development of Automotive Power Modules

On the 2nd, Bycor announced that it had become a member of the Global Semiconductor Alliance (GSA).
The Global Semiconductor Alliance (GSA) is an alliance dedicated to building an efficient, profitable, and sustainable global semiconductor and advanced technology ecosystem encompassing semiconductors, software, solutions, systems, and services. It comprises over 250 companies, including 100 publicly listed companies from over 25 countries.
“This GSA membership reflects the strength of Vicor’s Power-on-Package technology, which enables efficient current delivery to advanced applications such as AI accelerators, AI clusters, HPC, and high-speed networking,” said Robert Gendron, Vice President of Vicor.
Bycor will participate in the GSA Automotive Interest Group to develop small, lightweight and integrated power modules for the emerging vehicle electrification sector.

ST Microelectronics and NUS Establish Joint Research Center 'HELIX' for Edge AI
ST Microelectronics and the National University of Singapore have established the 'HELIX' joint research center aimed at implementing embedded AI in edge environments.
