ADLINK Launches ROS 2 Controller Suitable for Autonomous Mobile Robots

On the 16th, ADLINK launched the 'ROScube-X series', a real-time ROS 2 robot controller for advanced robotics applications.
The ROScube-X series is powered by the NVIDIA Jetson AGX Xavier module.
The module integrates multiple interfaces, including a GMSL2 camera connector, along with NVIDIA Volta GPUs and dual deep learning accelerators suitable for advanced robotics systems.
The ROScube-X series fully supports resources developed with NVIDIA JetPack SDK and ADLINK's Neuron SDK.
Power consumption is 30W, making it suitable for autonomous mobile robots (AMR) that require high-performance AI computing with low power consumption.
Meanwhile, ADLINK is offering the ROScube-I series real-time ROS 2 robot controller with Intel processor, the ROScube-I starter kit. It is also selling the ROScube Pico starter kit and the NeuronBot demo kit.

Korean Electronics Research Institute Pursues 'Space Heritage' for Lunar Rover Drivetrain Components
The Korean Electronics Research Institute (KERI) is collaborating with space robotics startup Unmanned Exploration Research Laboratory (UEL) to advance drive technology for exploration rovers and secure space flight heritage—demonstration records in actual space environments—for lunar rover components. Through the fifth Nuri rocket launch scheduled for October, the institute will verify the space environmental performance of control boards and other components, while formally advancing development of domestic space-grade motors and power conversion device technologies targeting a 2032 lunar landing goal. The objective is complete domestication of rovers weighing 25kg or less that operate in extreme high-temperature and high-vacuum environments.
