Microchip University Launches Online Training Course
Developers provide training directly to engineers.


Microchip announced on the 24th the launch of online training courses to help developers effectively use its products on a variety of embedded design topics, from C programming to cryptography. "Microchip University" courses provide best practices for implementing diverse systems, including IoT, communication protocols like Bluetooth, USB and CAN, bootloaders, and high-speed data using FPGAs.

Until last year, Microchip offered its training exclusively in person through its annual conference, but Microchip University has transitioned this curriculum to a non-face-to-face online format.

Engineers can learn how to leverage Microchip's MPLAB® Code Configurator (MCC), Core Independent Peripherals (CIPs), and solutions for developing embedded Linux® applications. The course covers examples such as motor control, battery charging fundamentals, power supplies, security, and analog system design. The course covers the full range of Microchip products and is available in English, Korean, and both Simplified and Traditional Chinese.
