As Intel seeks to restructure its global materials, components, and equipment supply chain through aggressive semiconductor facility investments, Applied Materials has achieved results demonstrating the strengthening of its partnership with Intel among its global supply chain partners.

On the 8th, Applied Materials, a leader in materials engineering solutions used in semiconductor and display products, won the 'EPIC (Excellence, Partnership, Inclusion and Continuous Improvement) Program Best Partner Award' in the Intel Partner Diversity category for 2022.

This award evaluates continuous quality improvement, performance, partnerships, and inclusion over the past year for Intel partners to recognize the highest level It is awarded to companies that have achieved results. The Intel EPIC Partner of the Year Award is the result of continuous improvement to the Intel supply chain ecosystem, which has maintained high performance.

Intel CEO Pat Gelsinger praised the award-winning partners, stating, “The IDM 2.0 strategy is gaining momentum through continuous partnerships, the pursuit of improvement, perfect execution, and bold innovation.”

With only a few hundred of the thousands of Intel partners worldwide eligible to participate in the EPIC Partner Program, only six companies across the entire Intel supply chain won the Intel Best Partner Award in 2022.

To qualify for the Intel EPIC Best Partner Award, you must demonstrate excellence in quality and business systems, such as setting aggressive performance goals, maintaining an annual performance evaluation score of 95 or higher, and achieving more than 90% of improvement plans.
