Samsung Electronics launched the 'Samsung Gaming Hub' service on the 30th for its 2022 smart TVs and smart monitors, including the Neo QLED 8K.

Samsung Gaming Hub is a streaming game platform integration service characterized by providing not only game apps but also related information such as recently played games, recommended games, game-related videos, and trailers for popular new releases on a single screen. Users can now conveniently enjoy content tailored to their gaming preferences through the Gaming Hub on TVs and smart monitors, just like using a video streaming service app on a smartphone, without the need for separate device connections, downloads, or the allocation of storage space.

The Gaming Hub is provided by adding a dedicated game tab to the existing 'Smart Hub' screen, allowing anyone to access it quickly and easily. Existing console users can more easily access and launch game titles through the Gaming Hub, and users without a separate console can also enjoy various streaming games through a partnership with Samsung Electronics.

Currently, popular game streaming services such as Microsoft Xbox Game Pass, NVIDIA GeForce NOW, Google Stadia, and Utomik are available, and Amazon Luna is also scheduled to be supported within the year. Additionally, YouTube, Twitch, and Spotify can be directly connected to the gaming hub, allowing users to enjoy various music and content simultaneously while playing games.

The 2022 Neo QLED enhances immersion with features such as a high refresh rate of up to '4K@144Hz' and fast response speed, enhanced black detail, and 'Moving Sound Pro+ (OTS Pro+)' which delivers three-dimensional sound based on the movement of objects in the video.

In addition, it is the first TV to be certified with 'FreeSync Premium Pro,' which minimizes screen tearing, and features HDMI 2.1 on all four ports, as well as an intuitive UX that automatically enters game mode when a game console is connected and allows users to easily check and configure game status.
