Tektronix held an event to introduce its new 2 Series oscilloscopes, which enhance portability with their thin thickness and light weight, to power electronics experts.

Tektronix participated in the 2022 Summer Conference of the Power Electronics Society, held at Hanwha Resort Gyeongju from July 5 to 7.

At this event, Tektronix introduced its various products and the newly released 2 Series oscilloscopes.
Tektronix launched the new '2 Series MSO Oscilloscope' last June, which offers a new scope usage experience that breaks away from standardized oscilloscope usage methods.

The 2 Series MSO significantly enhances portability, a convenience desired by oscilloscope users, while retaining the performance of existing scopes. This provides the portability to move the oscilloscope, which previously had to be used on a desk, to the desired measurement site.

It is the thinnest oscilloscope released by Tektronix, with a thickness of 38 mm and a 10.1-inch touchscreen, yet weighs only 1.8 kg.

Key specifications include a bandwidth of 70 MHz to 500 MHz, 2 or 4 analog input channels, 16 digital channels (available in a later software release), a sampling rate of 2.5 GS/s, an optional 50 MHz random function generator, a built-in pattern generator, voltmeter, and frequency counter, and up to 8 hours of battery operation (available as an option), providing enhanced performance.

"We have improved portability with a very thin and small size," emphasized Kwon Oh-sung, a manager at Tektronix. "At the same time, it supports most functions just like other mainstream oscilloscopes."
