Vector Unveils 'vSECC.InPlug' Communication Controller with Built-in DC Charging Connector
Vector Korea has unveiled the communication controller 'vSECC.InPlug' with built-in DC charging connector. The charging cable, previously limited to 7.5 meters, can now be extended up to 100 meters maximum, significantly enhancing infrastructure layout flexibility at bus and truck depots. By processing power line communication directly within the connector, the central power conversion equipment and charging point can be separately positioned, and in conjunction with the depot management system 'vCharM.DMS', it provides integrated support for electric commercial vehicle charging infrastructure operations.

Keysight Technologies is conducting joint research with the Centre for Assuring Autonomy at the University of York in the United Kingdom to develop methodologies for establishing AI safety cases within software-defined vehicles (SDV). The company will develop data-driven AI safety assessment methodologies and auditable evidence generation frameworks to meet ISO/PAS 8800 requirements, with the results to be reflected in enhanced AI safety validation capabilities of the AX1000A product.

Han Car Research Institute Begins Full Operation of Integrated Evaluation Infrastructure for Large Electric and Hydrogen Commercial Vehicle Electric Drive Systems
The Korea Automotive Research Institute will complete an integrated evaluation infrastructure for electric drive systems used in large electric and hydrogen commercial vehicles in the Changwon National Industrial Complex in October. Comprehensive performance evaluation, the first of its kind in Korea, becomes possible with five types of core evaluation equipment ranging from component-level to complete vehicle level. The infrastructure is expected to support domestic future mobility component companies throughout the entire cycle from technology development to commercialization, and to accelerate the industry's acquisition of technological competitiveness.
