As AI services begin to take off in earnest and demand for high-bandwidth memory increases, SK Hynix will showcase its latest AI-oriented memory at CES.

SK Hynix announced on the 3rd that it will participate in 'CES 2024', the world's largest electronics and IT exhibition held in Las Vegas, USA for four days starting on the 9th, and showcase its ultra-high-performance memory technology, which is the core of future AI infrastructure.

SK Hynix emphasized, “At this CES, we will highlight the company’s future vision, represented by ‘Memory Centric.’ Through this, we hope to inform the world of the importance of memory semiconductors, which are being emphasized due to technological advancements in the AI era, and our competitiveness as a leader in the global market in this field.”

Memory Centric is an environment where memory semiconductors play a central role in ICT devices. SK Group's major affiliates, including SK, SK Innovation, and SK Telecom, will jointly set up an exhibition hall titled 'SK Wonderland' in Las Vegas, USA, where they will exhibit their main AI memory products, such as HBM3E.br />
HBM3E is the highest-performance memory currently available, which SK Hynix successfully developed in August of last year. The company plans to mass-produce this product and supply it to AI big tech customers starting in the first half of this year.

The theme of this SK Group joint exhibition is 'Amusement Park', and SK Hynix will present 'AI Fortune Teller', which applies generative AI technology based on HBM3E. Visitors can experience receiving their own AI-generated cartoon character and New Year's fortune card at Fortune Teller.

Additionally, it has been reported that SK Hynix, together with its group ICT affiliates, will set up a separate 'SK ICT Family Demo Room' within the CES venue to showcase its AI technology.
△Next-generation interface CXL memory △Prototype of CMS (Computational Memory Solution), a memory solution that integrates CXL-based computational functions △AiMX, a low-cost, high-efficiency generative AI accelerator card based on PIM (Processing-In-Memory) semiconductors, etc. will be exhibited and demonstrated.

Among these, CXL memory is also an AI memory, and SK Hynix plans to commercialize DDR5-based 96GB and 128GB CXL 2.0 memory solution products in the second half of this year and supply them to AI customers.
