At this year's Nano Korea 2024 exhibition, where nano-based future convergence technologies can be viewed at a glance, the latest electromagnetic shielding and absorption materials from national research institutions were gathered in one place. We examined the trends in electromagnetic materials that are proactively preparing for the millimeter-wave era. The electromagnetic shielding film and materials sector is a market heavily dependent on Japanese imports, and it is one of the fields where material development and technology localization are necessary to secure competitiveness. In particular, various domestic efforts are underway to secure market competitiveness by preemptively preparing for the next-generation communication frequency millimeter-wave band market.
