Infineon Technologies (Korea CEO Seungsoo Lee) has maximized the development efficiency of automotive MCU applications.

Infineon announced on the 28th that it has officially launched AURIX™ Configuration Studio (ACS), a new integrated development environment (IDE) for developing applications for the AURIX™ TC3x series of automotive microcontrollers (MCUs).

ACS is attracting attention as an innovative solution that reduces development complexity, shortens product development time, and even provides cost savings.

ACS is based on Infineon's proven DAVE™ (Digital Application Virtual Engineer) technology and is a powerful development platform that integrates an Eclipse-based editor, GNU C compiler, and open-source debugger.

In particular, the intuitive graphical user interface (GUI) allows developers to easily configure and customize projects, and the automatic resource management function with AI-based solver automatically allocates and maintains hardware resources, minimizing repetitive tasks.

ACS reduces manual coding errors and automatically generates high-quality, production-ready code based on interface settings, allowing developers to focus on implementing core features and innovation.

ACS integrates various software components, including drivers, middleware, and libraries, optimized for Infineon's AURIX MCU hardware, enabling developers to develop modular software-based applications quickly and reliably.

This lowers the barrier to entry for automotive application development using the AURIX TC3x family and strengthens the entire development ecosystem.
