AI semiconductor company Mobilint and video analysis AI company Intellivix are partnering in the fields of public safety and smart infrastructure. The two companies plan to jointly pursue real-time edge AI-based businesses by combining video analysis AI and neural network processing units (NPUs).

Mobilint announced on the 30th that it has signed a strategic memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Intellivix to expand its smart safety and infrastructure business based on 'video analysis AI agents'.

This agreement aims to identify joint business opportunities in fields such as public safety, smart cities, and physical AI, and to connect them to commercialization.

The core of this collaboration is a structure that combines Intellivix's video analysis AI agent with Mobilint's high-performance NPU.

Intellivix's 'Video Analysis AI Agent (VIXA)' is a system that detects dangerous situations every 0.1 seconds and delivers warnings via text and voice.

The two companies explained that they plan to optimize the agent technology for Mobilint's NPU and apply it to industrial safety and public sites requiring high real-time performance and accuracy.

The strategy is to implement a structure that enables real-time analysis in an edge environment through this.

Under the agreement, the two companies will cooperate in areas such as: applying and optimizing NPUs to video analysis AI agents; responding to joint projects in the public safety sector; jointly promoting the registration of excellent procurement products; cooperating on new physical AI (robots, etc.) businesses; and advancing technology and products and ensuring supply stability.

Through this collaboration, both companies plan to enter the public procurement market and expand their business into the smart city and smart infrastructure sectors.
