To meet the demand of more customers

Online electronic component shopping mall Element 14 announced that it has signed a distribution agreement for various resistors and ceramic capacitors with Walsin Tehch, headquartered in Taiwan.

As a result, the already extensive passive line card has been further expanded. Walsin, which generated $400 million in sales in 2014 and is one of the top five global manufacturers in the ceramic capacitor field, has signed a contract with Element14 for CEM customers in the industrial, telecommunications/wireless, networking, and digital consumer markets.

Jesper Rasmussen, Global Category Director for Passive Products at Premier Farnell, commented on the agreement: “We are pleased to expand our line card product range through Walsin. Element14 is the first high-service distributor in Europe to partner with Walsin, and we are delighted to introduce Walsin’s products to new markets.”
