Panasonic Korea's 'PT-RZ12K' is a 3-Chip DLP laser light source projector that guarantees consistent image quality for 20,000 hours of operation. Panasonic explained that the 'PT-RZ12K' is suitable for large spaces such as exhibition halls and art museums, as it enables stable projection even during 24-hour continuous operation and allows for flexible installation.

It was stated that the 'PT-RZ12K' is equipped with a 3DLP chip featuring next-generation 'Solid Shine' laser technology, supporting bright and clear image quality of 12,000 lumens (lm). It also features two powerful Solid Shine laser light sources, a heat-resistant phosphor wheel, and three independent 3-Chip DLP chips, which provide more accurate and superior color reproduction and contrast for red, green, and blue, the key components of color expression. Additionally, it supports WUXGA (1920 x 1200) resolution.

In addition, the Panasonic 'PT-RZ12K's' outstanding brightness of 12,000 lumens (lm) and Daylight View 3 system optimize image quality by providing clear and vivid image output and enhancing color perception regardless of the surrounding environment. The optical engine combined with Panasonic's proprietary 'Motion Processor' chip improves resolution, contrast, and focus capabilities, and outputs 120Hz frame video more smoothly. In addition, a dynamic contrast of 20,000:1 ensures high-precision optical output, achieving excellent contrast ratio.

The Detail Clarity Processor 5 circuit, which clearly enhances even minute details, analyzes each image frame to optimize extracted information in order to accurately express minute details and textures, thereby realizing more natural image expression.

In addition, durability has been enhanced through a cooling system and dustproof design. The Panasonic 'PT-RZ12K' operates at a low noise level of 43dB even at 50 degrees Celsius thanks to a newly designed aluminum heat sink. It features an Eco filter that can be used for up to 20,000 hours without replacement and can be reused simply by washing it with water. Furthermore, the dustproof design, which fundamentally blocks dust entry, reduces the hassle of replacement cycles.

The Solid Shine laser system axis, which facilitates flexible installation, allows for 360-degree free mounting and offers up to 87,600 hours of use in 'Long Life Mode.' It can display video for approximately 10 seconds immediately after turning on the power without any separate preheating. The Panasonic 'PT-RZ12K' was released in the second half of 2015, and the projector lens is sold separately. It weighs 44 kg and comes in black.
