Fortinet Korea, a network security solution company, announced on the 28th that it successfully held the '2016 Fortinet Security Forum' for customers and users at the Grand Intercontinental Hotel in Samseong-dong on Wednesday, January 27, 2016.
At the '2016 Fortinet Security Forum,' mobility, BYOD, server virtualization, cloud computing, and software-defined networking (SDN) were key keywords, and agile and secure data center integration strategies and practical solutions to address security challenges arising from data center integration were introduced.
At this event, Fortinet introduced and demonstrated its firewall appliance 'FortiGate-3810D' and Spirent Avalanche, which are optimized for data center environments, while Naim Networks, a Software Defined Networking (SDN) specialist, presented detailed real-world domestic case studies and the current status of data center integration.
Cho Hyun-je, CEO of Fortinet Korea, said, “This event was a meaningful occasion to present the latest network security technology trends and insights applicable to actual enterprises, as well as to discuss secure data center integration strategies with industry experts.” He added, “Fortinet presents a true end-to-end security strategy along with integrated APT protection capabilities from data centers to endpoints, and we will strive to expand our reach with customers and broaden the scope of network security by providing venues like this event to benchmark various case studies.”
