Samsung Electronics has unveiled the main program of the Samsung Developer Conference 2016, which will be held in San Francisco on April 27th and 28th, and has begun accepting registration for participation on the 3rd (local time).

Samsung Developer Conference 2016 announced that it will hold keynote speeches on 10 cutting-edge technologies, over 60 developer-focused courses, and workshops under the theme of 'Connecting the Future Everywhere You Look.'

In particular, IoT technologies such as 'ARTIK', a semiconductor-based IoT device development platform, and 'IoTivity', an open framework of the Open Interconnect Consortium (OIC) for device/platform connection, will be discussed, and the latest technology fields such as wearables and virtual reality will also be covered.

Additionally, in-depth discussions will be held on the smartphone service ecosystem strategy, including Samsung Pay, S-Health, and games, as well as Samsung's corporate security solutions and partnership strategy, represented by 'Samsung Knox.'

At this year's Samsung Developer Conference 2016, Injong Lee, Vice President of Samsung Electronics' Wireless Business Division, John Pleasants, Vice President of Media Solutions Center America (MSCA), and Pranav Mistry, Senior Vice President of Samsung Research America (SRA), will deliver keynote speeches and present Samsung Electronics' collaboration plans with developers around the world.
