Mouser.com's new power management technology site contains information that will be helpful to developers who want to expand their knowledge of power management technology. The technology section is divided into the following five categories:

• 'Overview' provides a general description of the power supply and key components.
• 'Voltage Regulator' explains in detail the overall purpose of this component and the types of voltage regulators.
• 'Switching Regulator' explains why and how important efficiency is in the use of switching regulators in switch-mode power supplies (SMPS).
• 'MOSFETs and Discrete Components' covers in detail the importance of external MOSFETs, gate drivers, and rectifiers in power supplies.
