Hansung SMB Solutions Holds Free NAS Solution Seminar
Published2016.02.17 15:26As interest in the efficient use of big data and digital archiving grows as a means of effectively processing the overflowing data, each company is showing great interest in NAS (Network-Attached Storage) systems, a network-attached storage solution that can proactively respond to security, policies, and regulations.
In fact, the scope of application is rapidly expanding, with many companies adopting NAS systems as basic equipment for business purposes, including for processing work and developing new services. However, industry insiders commonly agree that, due to the nature of network-based equipment, its full performance can only be fully utilized if it is supported by relevant knowledge.
Accordingly, Hansung SMB Solution Co., Ltd., a network storage and backup/security solution distribution company, announced on the 17th that it will hold a free seminar on the 25th to help users use NAS storage solutions correctly and increase their understanding.
The training will be held on the 3rd floor of Woorim Blue Nine in Yeomchang-dong, Mapo-gu for approximately 2 hours from 4 PM to 6 PM on February 25th. Anyone interested in QNAP NAS, from corporate executives to the general public and students, can apply/participate.
Practical training, including QNAP NAS installation, use of additional features, and troubleshooting.
The seminar hosted by Hansung SMB Solutions will cover the entire process from installation of the QNAP NAS solution to operation and troubleshooting in detail from the perspective of a practical operator.
Additionally, administrators without basic knowledge of NAS can learn the basic principles of useful NAS systems and RAID configuration methods, and receive guidance on operating multimedia content and building backup systems using NAS solutions.
Bae Hyeon-wook, deputy manager of Hansung SMB Solution Co., Ltd., a storage company that has specialized in storage and network solution equipment for small and medium-sized enterprises since 2006 and is a domestic distributor of QNAP, said, “We have prepared free training to teach users who may have difficulties due to lack of experience or information on system operation, from NAS installation to utilizing additional functions and how to handle failures.”

Databricks Unveils Open AI Security Monitoring 'Lakewatch'
Databricks entered the security market on March 24 by unveiling LakeWatch, an open-source agentic SIEM. The core functionality of this product is to integrate and analyze security, IT, and business data in a single environment to support AI-based threat detection and investigation. The company explained that it reduces the limitations of existing security operations centers, which have had to forgo some data due to high cost structures, and enables large-scale data analysis and automation based on open formats and ecosystems. LakeWatch is currently offered as a private preview, with Adobe and Dropbox mentioned as early customers. Databricks also announced an expanded partnership with Anthropic as well as the acquisition of Antimatter and SiftD.ai.

Ecolab Expands AI Data Center Cooling Business Through Acquisition of CoolIT
Ecolab has agreed to acquire CoolIT Systems, a liquid cooling company for AI data centers, for approximately $4.75 billion. The transaction is expected to close by Q3 2026, subject to regulatory approvals. CoolIT has been supplying direct-to-chip cooling-based coolant distribution units, cold plates, and manifolds, serving hyperscale data centers and colocation operators as customers. This acquisition is a measure to address the high-heat and high-density server environments created by AI proliferation. Ecolab plans to combine its water management and digital monitoring capabilities with CoolIT's hardware technology to expand its data center cooling business.
