Cognex Implements Automation Through Accurate Measurement and Testing
A conference where you can see and experience the future of the automation industry firsthand has been held. 'Automation World 2016' is an exhibition where you can check out key automation components such as PLCs, industrial computers, drives, and sensors, and it will be held from March 9 to 11 at Halls A and B of COEX in Samseong-dong.
This event, co-hosted by COEX Co., Ltd., Cheomdan, EO Culture Co., Ltd., and the Korea Machine Vision Industry Association, was held simultaneously with the 27th International Factory Automation Exhibition (aimex), the 5th Korea Vision Show, and the 2nd Smart Factory.
COGNEX, a vision company participating in the Korea Machine Vision Industry Exhibition, showcased 2D and 3D vision systems and vision sensors. Cognex's vision technology helps workers perform tasks stably and consistently, and minimizes defects and reduces costs by supporting automation and error-free production processes.
This video shows a robot playing a game with a person by calculating the movement of an air hockey puck through a vision system.

Cognex Launches Attachable Barcode Scan Accessory for Mobile Devices
Cognex announced the launch of StingRay™, a patent-pending attachable barcode scanning accessory that can be mounted on smartphones.
