This kit is a convenient, comprehensive platform that provides real-time sensor tuning capabilities, enabling use without writing a single line of code. The modular design of the included MSP430FR2633-based MCU board, its accessible data, and its application-centric approach make it ideal for applications such as thermostats, white goods, and personal electronics.

The kit includes the CAPTIVATE-FR2633 target MCU module, the CAPTIVATE-PGMR eZ-FET with EnergyTrace technology and HD communication bridge, the CAPTIVATE-ISO UART, I2C, SBW isolation board, the ready-to-use CAPTIVATE-BSWP ground-to-ground demo board, the CAPTIVATE-PHONE mutual-to-ground demo board with haptic and guard channel support, and the CAPTIVATE-PROXIMITY proximity sensing and gesture demo board.

The MSP430FR2633-based MCU programmer/debugger board with EnergyTrace technology measures energy usage using TI's Code Composer Studio™ integrated development environment (IDE), and the sensor board provides self-power-off, mutual power-off, gesture, and proximity sensing capabilities. Additionally, the MSP430FR2633 MCU with CapTIvate touch technology offers the highest resolution capacitive touch capability available today. MSP MCUs with CapTIvate technology are the lowest power capacitive touch MCUs, featuring noise immunity of 10 V rms, foreign matter immunity, and a design compatible with gloves.
