Brightness of 1,500 candles, maximum brightness is 1,500 lumens

LG Electronics solidifies its position as the world's No. 1 LED projector manufacturer by launching a new, brighter MiniBeam TV.

LG Electronics recently launched two new MiniBeam TV portable projectors in the domestic market. The flagship model (model name: PW1500) features a maximum brightness of up to 1,500 lumens (equivalent to the brightness of 1,500 candles), displaying clear images even during the day. This is the brightest MiniBeam TV released by LG Electronics to date.

Another new product (model name: PW1000) has a maximum brightness of 1,000 lumens, but its shipping price is about 250,000 won cheaper than existing products with the same brightness. LG Electronics lowered the price to allow more consumers to enjoy Mini Beam TVs.

Mini Beam TVs are convenient to use by connecting them to other devices. Users can enjoy more immersive sound by wirelessly connecting Bluetooth-enabled speakers, soundbars, and other devices to the Mini Beam TV. Videos stored on a PC or smartphone can also be viewed on the Mini Beam TV via Wi-Fi.

LG Electronics has ranked first in the global LED projector market in terms of sales revenue for five consecutive years, from 2011 to last year. By making projectors, which were previously used mainly in offices, smaller and lighter, the company is leading the portable projector market by targeting campers and newlyweds. This year, LG Electronics plans to challenge for the number one spot in the LED projector market for the sixth consecutive year by introducing a brighter Mini Beam TV that can be used even in small office spaces.

The shipping prices for the new Mini Beam TVs are 1,050,000 won for the PW1500 model and 850,000 won for the PW1000 model.
