AMD Unveils Additional Polaris Architecture-Based Graphics Cards at E3

AMD unveiled additional Radeon™ RX series graphics cards at the E3 game show held in Los Angeles, California.
AMD CEO Lisa Su introduced the product lineup, including the Radeon™ RX 480 graphics card, as well as the Radeon RX 470 and Radeon RX 460, stating that the Radeon RX series graphics card family will provide top-tier performance and features at a mainstream price.
In particular, the newly announced Radeon RX 480 is designed to allow users to smoothly enjoy the latest games even at 1440p resolution, and is evaluated as a solution that provides a premium virtual reality environment at a reasonable price of $199 USD (based on the 4GB model). Furthermore, the Radeon RX 470 and Radeon RX 460 are also expected to further enhance HD gaming and esports gaming environments.
Raja Koduri, Vice President and Chief Architect of AMD Radeon Technologies Group, stated, “Recently, the usage environment for gamers and consumers is actually falling behind,” adding, “Only 16% of PC gamers use GPUs capable of running premium virtual reality and games, and countless gamers are using outdated technology. Even laptop gamers are currently experiencing virtual reality only through text.” “We plan to actively expand the reach of the Radeon RX series so that everyone can experience powerful high-end gaming performance and virtual reality technology,” he emphasized.

Databricks Unveils Open AI Security Monitoring 'Lakewatch'
Databricks entered the security market on March 24 by unveiling LakeWatch, an open-source agentic SIEM. The core functionality of this product is to integrate and analyze security, IT, and business data in a single environment to support AI-based threat detection and investigation. The company explained that it reduces the limitations of existing security operations centers, which have had to forgo some data due to high cost structures, and enables large-scale data analysis and automation based on open formats and ecosystems. LakeWatch is currently offered as a private preview, with Adobe and Dropbox mentioned as early customers. Databricks also announced an expanded partnership with Anthropic as well as the acquisition of Antimatter and SiftD.ai.
