AMD announced the official launch of the Radeon™ RX 480 graphics card.

AMD plans to promote the development of the PC gaming and virtual reality markets by supplying the Radeon RX 480 product with strong performance and reasonable price for gaming enthusiasts.

The AMD Radeon RX 480, built on premium graphics technology, offers users best-in-class value for money1 and is expected to significantly contribute to the expansion of virtual reality adoption. Furthermore, it is equipped with various new technologies2 and is expected to deliver outstanding performance in next-generation gaming and video standards environments to be released in the future.

The AMD Radeon RX 480 graphics card comes in two variants with different video memory capacities, with a suggested retail price of $199 (USD) for the model with 4GB of video memory and $239 (USD) for the model with 8GB of video memory.
