KT announced that it is strengthening its summer 'GiGA IoT Home' event to commemorate KT 'GiGA IoT' winning the top grand prize at the 'IoT Innovation Award 2016' hosted by the Korea Internet Professional Association (KIPFA) for its excellent quality and differentiated services.

To commemorate this award, KT is holding the 'GiGA IoT Home: I Use It When?' event until August 12, where customers can share a webtoon on social media that humorously depicts usage scenarios of the 'GiGA IoT Home' service, which helps alleviate concerns about empty homes during the vacation season, and receive prizes.

Customers who select the webtoon they relate to the most among those depicting usage situations of home cams, plugs, open sensors, and gas safety devices and share it on social media will be entered into a draw to win Baskin Robbins Cotton Candy Blasts (200 winners) and Starbucks Americanos (200 winners), with a total of 400 winners.
