Launch of 'Be Y Phone, Pad' Equipped with Premium Performance

Huawei announced the launch of the 'Be Y Phone' and 'Be Y Pad' through KT, targeting the younger generation that prioritizes reasonable value consumption. The Huawei 'Be Y Phone' features premium performance, including a fingerprint recognition function previously found only in high-end smartphones and a high-spec camera, offering a new alternative for consumers seeking reasonable prices and premium specifications.

The 'Be Y Phone' features a simple and sophisticated design with a slim 7.5mm thickness, a metal body, and a distinctive back pattern, and is available in black and white. Equipped with a 5.2-inch Full HD IPS LCD touchscreen display and a highly efficient 3000mAh integrated battery, it allows for long-term use on a large screen.

It features 16GB of internal memory and supports up to 128GB of external memory, and supports enhanced performance and a high-quality user experience with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 (MSM8952) quad-core processor and 3 gigabytes (GB) of RAM. In particular, it is equipped with Huawei’s Fingerprint 2.0 feature, which is supported in premium smartphones, allowing for unlocking in 0.5 seconds. It is also more convenient and secure as it allows for functions such as taking photos, answering calls, and setting alarms using fingerprint recognition even when the screen is locked.

In addition, equipped with a premium smartphone-grade camera featuring 13 megapixels on the rear and 8 megapixels on the front, along with a bright f/2.0 aperture, it supports clear shooting even in low-light night and nighttime environments. With accurate colors and various shooting modes, it enables optimal photo capture anytime, anywhere. At the same time, the 1920x1080 high-resolution display delivers sharper, brighter image quality and richer colors, providing a more vivid visual experience.

The 'Be Y Pad' features a sophisticated and simple design with a metal material and a back pattern inspired by brass instruments. In particular, it is equipped with dual speakers certified by the professional audio brand Harman/Kardon, allowing users to enjoy vivid sound quality, while the 8-inch Full HD IPS LCD touchscreen display supports clearer video quality for an immersive experience. With a built-in 4800mAh battery supporting 13 hours of video playback, it can be utilized as a high-quality entertainment device that ensures optimal portability. It is released in a single silver color and features 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal memory, and supports up to 128GB of external memory.

The 'Be Y Phone' and 'Be Y Pad' will be released and sold for 316,800 won and 363,000 won, respectively, through KT's official online Olleh Shop and KT stores nationwide. Customers who purchase the 'Be Y Phone' will receive a genuine SanDisk 64GB SD card, a case, and a screen protector as standard accessories included in the device box.
