Use the Air Doctor service via voice recognition linked with GiGA Genie

KT has launched 'GiGA IoT Air Doctor,' an air quality meter that measures and diagnoses indoor air environments and provides management methods through the Home Manager app.

'GiGA IoT Air Doctor' checks indoor air quality by linking indoor environmental information collected from the device with a smartphone app, and creates a comfortable indoor environment by connecting with air purifiers and air conditioners depending on the status.

In particular, 'GiGA IoT Air Doctor' can also be used in conjunction with the recently released 'GiGA Genie'. If you ask 'GiGA Genie' about the air quality, the 'GiGA Genie' device linked with Air Doctor will provide information on the current indoor environment and precautions.

Key features of 'GiGA IoT Air Doctor' include: ▲ measuring six types of environmental information such as ultrafine dust, fine dust, volatile organic compounds (VOCs), carbon dioxide (CO2), temperature, and humidity; ▲ displaying indoor environmental conditions with four levels of light; ▲ selecting modes according to user purpose, such as infants/toddlers, learning efficiency, allergy care, and cardiovascular/respiratory diseases; ▲ providing push message notifications and management guide services when management standards are not met; and ▲ automatically managing the indoor environment by operating pre-set air purifiers and air conditioners through the app. However, automatic management is available only for home appliances linked with the 'GiGA IoT Home Manager' app.

In addition, users can view the history of indoor environmental information via a smartphone app in hourly, daily, and weekly graphs, and even check the outdoor weather and forecast for a set location, as well as differences in fine dust concentration.

'GiGA IoT Air Doctor' can be subscribed to at KT stores, the customer center (dial 100 without an area code), or Olleh Shop (ollehshop.com). The basic monthly fee is 8,800 won regardless of the carrier (based on a 3-year contract, including service fee + device cost, VAT included), but customers who subscribe through the launch promotion by the end of May can use the service for 4,400 won per month, a 50% discount, as the device cost (158,400 won) is fully covered.

To commemorate the launch of 'GiGA IoT Air Doctor,' KT is holding an event on the Olleh.com and Olleh Shop websites until Friday, March 31. First, Olleh.com offers various prizes, such as Philips coffee machines and Starbucks gift certificates, through sharing Air Doctor videos, participating in quizzes, and applying for the experience group.
