Samsung Electronics has launched an 'outdoor lighting LED module (Type T 2.5 generation)' based on a Chip Scale Package (CSP) that achieves ultra-small size and high reliability.

The 'chip scale package' eliminates the process of connecting plastic molds, substrates, and light sources with metal wires, making it suitable for ultra-small designs and demonstrating high reliability.

The 'T-type 2.5th generation' product is an outdoor lighting module suitable for tunnel lights, streetlights, security lights, etc., and is manufactured with the LED chip, optical components, and heat dissipation mechanism integrated into a single unit, allowing customers to manufacture lighting fixtures more conveniently.



The 'T-Type 2.5th Generation' lineup features an expandable modular design that allows you to connect multiple modules to achieve the desired light output (brightness) as needed, and offers a selection of various color temperatures (3,000K to 5,700K).

In addition, it provides improved color rendering (CRI 80) compared to existing outdoor products (CRI 75), enabling the expression of natural light similar to sunlight.

Considering the characteristics of outdoor lighting exposed to various environments, it is equipped with IP66 dust and water resistance, and by connecting two ultra-small packages (LH181A) in parallel to a single lens, the phenomenon where the entire module does not light up if one package does not operate Improved.
