On the 30th, a lecture will be held on the topic of ‘Industrial IoT for Smart Manufacturing’

Dell EMC Korea will showcase IoT (Internet of Things) solutions at 'Automation World 2017' held at COEX for three days from March 29th to 31st. At the booth, Dell EMC's 'Edge Gateway', 'Embedded Box PC', and other infrastructure for IoT introduction will be exhibited, and solutions from domestic partners in related fields will be introduced. On the 30th, a lecture will be held on the topic of 'Industrial IoT for Smart Manufacturing'. On the 31st, Dell EMC's new technology and new product briefing will be held three times.


The 'Edge Gateway 5000' and 'Edge Gateway 5100' series collect and transmit data generated from devices in industrial sites. Equipped with the Intel Atom processor, it selectively transmits data through local analysis, reducing network bandwidth and shortening the response delay time of the entire solution. The 'Edge Gateway 3000', which accelerates the introduction of IoT in moving environments such as transport vehicles or remote oil pumps, is also introduced. Equipped with an Atom processor, it can withstand temperatures from -30 degrees Celsius to 70 degrees Celsius. It is equipped with GPS, accelerometer, and barometric pressure sensors, and supports Wi-Fi and Bluetooth LE (low energy specification), making it suitable for the logistics and energy industries.

The Dell 'Embedded Box PC 3000' and 'Embedded Box PC 5000' series, which are exhibited together, are embedded solutions tailored to the environment and requirements of industrial sites. They are PCs without separate cooling fans, and with an onboard configuration that minimizes internal cables and a heat-dissipating body, they can withstand temperatures of up to 70 degrees Celsius, depending on the model.
