KT announced that it held the 'Technical Trend Seminar (TTS),' an IT new technology seminar, at the KT Square Dream Hall in Gwanghwamun under the theme 'A New Future of Energy, Smart Energy.'

For this TTS event, Korea Energy Agency President Kang Nam-hoon delivered a keynote speech on the "Current Status and Prospects of the New Energy Industry" to KT employees and corporate clients. The session covered KT's energy business direction and services, as well as the outlook for the electric vehicle market and global trends, using actual implementation case studies. A Q&A session regarding the energy business followed the presentation.



A separate space was set up at the site to introduce and allow visitors to experience KT's major energy businesses and services, as well as listen to explanations from expert commentators.

TTS, marking its 7th year of implementation, accepted applications in advance from KT clients, and registration closed early as over 200 people, including KT Group employees, administrative experts from major clients, and corporate representatives, flocked to participate.

Kim Chul-soo, Executive Vice President and Head of KT’s Customer Division, stated, “KT is continuously contemplating the future of the energy industry utilizing ICT technology so that client companies and general customers can use energy with peace of mind,” adding, “I hope that this TTS event served as an opportunity to gain clues on how to utilize and conserve energy necessary for business operations.”
