KT Powertel announced on the 1st that it is launching the entry-level LTE walkie-talkie 'RADGER Lite'.

The LTE walkie-talkie 'Razer Lite' has garnered significant interest from small and medium-sized tourist hotels, hospitals, and golf courses that prefer low-cost walkie-talkies focused on group communication functions, recording over 1,000 pre-orders during the month of July.

The Razer Lite is an ultra-compact LTE walkie-talkie that is about the size of a credit card and weighs a total of 112g including the battery, making it easy to carry. It lowers the price of the device with a simple design that eliminates the keypad and touchscreen, while retaining the advantages of an LTE walkie-talkie, such as no frequency interference and no range limitations.

To ensure convenience even in the workplace, it features a high-output 2W speaker and a 2,000mAh battery, and also supports FM radio and music player functions. It also allows the use of the 'Easy-Eye Service' for real-time location tracking, as well as four types of 'radio additional services' consisting of special encrypted radio communication, emergency group calling, multi-group reception, and radio recording.

Two new rate plans have been introduced, based on group call allowances of 120 and 200 minutes. They are available for just over 10,000 won per month, which is on average 40% cheaper than existing plans. Additionally, prepaid plans have been introduced. If you choose a prepaid plan, you can use group walkie-talkies unlimitedly by selecting a usage period of 12, 24, or 36 months. Free device repair is provided for one year from the time of purchase.
