Through the accompanying app, users can activate features such as the 'Hey Siri' command, a smart button that allows direct access to configured apps, and Hear Thru, which enables users to hear conversations from those around them better while wearing the earphones. The price is $149.95.

G E to Unveil Laser Printing Technology in November
GE announced plans to build 'GE Additive,' the world's largest laser powder additive manufacturing machine. It uses lasers to shape metal powder and can produce parts up to one cubic meter in size. New Atlas reported that this technology, capable of efficiently creating fine fusions in a single step, is the same technology used by NASA to manufacture rocket components. The technology is based on Concept Laser, which GE recently acquired. GE Additive plans to officially unveil it at the Formnext Show in Germany in November.

Analyze urine with a mobile phone?!
Researchers at the University of Urbana-Champaign in Illinois have developed a technology to analyze blood, urine, or saliva samples using a smartphone. According to the researchers, a TRI (Transmit-Reflected Intensity) analyzer can detect liquids that generate light output by sensing test results with color-changing liquids. To use it, a fluid sample is placed at the device's inlet and illuminated with a white LED flash or a built-in green laser diode. The light passes through a diffraction grating via an optical fiber to the rear camera, and an app analyzes specific color changes to identify the sample. New Atlas reported that this technology can be utilized in fields such as environmental monitoring, drug testing, manufacturing quality control, and food safety, in addition to medical diagnostics.

Samsung Gear is being released as a fitness model. Predictions have emerged that Samsung will announce a new Gear Sport model at next month's IFA. The Verge reported discovering files related to the Gear Sport currently under review by the U.S. Federal Communications Commission (FCC). While Samsung showcased a new generation of Gear smartwatches at last year's IFA, it plans to release a square-shaped Gear focused on fitness this year.
