Published2017.08.21 15:32Ansys Korea (CEO Yongwon Cho), a global engineering simulation specialist, announced that it will hold a visiting seminar to exchange the latest technology information and communicate with existing and new customers.
Through this seminar, Ansys will engage in in-depth discussions regarding the applications and necessity of simulation analysis with its current customers and potential clients across various fields. In particular, by selecting cutting-edge technologies that are key industry topics—such as 5G, ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), CPS (Chip Package System), and CE (Conducted Emission)—as special themes, the company plans to introduce its diverse product portfolio applicable to these sectors and provide solution information designed to help customers enhance their competitiveness.
The manufacturing industry, including the field of new technology development, has faced diverse and complex environmental changes. Ansys's multiphysics analysis technology enables complex testing by linking separate simulation product families in areas that cannot be solved by conventional single simulations, such as special topics. Through on-site seminars, customers can directly experience Ansys's unique advanced simulation solutions, including Multiphysics.
Meanwhile, this seminar, conducted through direct visits to the applicant companies, provides customized information tailored to the participating businesses' environments rather than simply delivering one-way information. Based on accumulated customer cases and experience across various industries, Ansys plans to explain how to solve problems using Ansys simulation software by identifying in advance the issues that companies are currently facing or may face during the product manufacturing and verification process.
"Active communication and collaboration with customers are essential for successful business. This visiting seminar is part of that effort," said Yongwon Cho, CEO of Ansys Korea. "We hope this seminar serves as a venue for exchanging information with customers, and Ansys plans to continue actively providing technical support and services to them."
Applications for the Ansys Visiting Seminar, which runs until October 31, are open until August 31, and participation is free. A minimum of 10 participants is required, and details regarding the application process and specific proceedings can be found on the official website.

Databricks Unveils Open AI Security Monitoring 'Lakewatch'
Databricks entered the security market on March 24 by unveiling LakeWatch, an open-source agentic SIEM. The core functionality of this product is to integrate and analyze security, IT, and business data in a single environment to support AI-based threat detection and investigation. The company explained that it reduces the limitations of existing security operations centers, which have had to forgo some data due to high cost structures, and enables large-scale data analysis and automation based on open formats and ecosystems. LakeWatch is currently offered as a private preview, with Adobe and Dropbox mentioned as early customers. Databricks also announced an expanded partnership with Anthropic as well as the acquisition of Antimatter and SiftD.ai.
