KT, LG Uplus, and SK Telecom announced that they will begin pre-orders for the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus starting the morning of the 27th. Orders can be placed at KT dealerships, LG Uplus stores, and the official online shop. Official sales begin on November 3.

The iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus use the toughest glass ever used in a smartphone and feature a glass and aluminum design in three beautiful colors: Space Grey, Silver, and Gold. They are also equipped with a Retina HD display and the A11 Bionic chip, designed to deliver the ultimate augmented reality experience.

Wireless charging capabilities further expand the possibilities of the iPhone. The iPhone 8 Plus features dual 12-megapixel cameras and introduces Portrait Mode, which utilizes Portrait Lighting, allowing users to enjoy dramatic studio lighting effects on the iPhone. Additionally, you can capture stunning portraits using five lighting styles and shallow depth of field.

Reservations can be made at KT stores nationwide, the KT Shop, and the 'KT Shop App.' Customers who reserve via the KT Shop can freely choose their preferred delivery method, either via courier or by picking up at a nearby KT store. In particular, KT customers upgrading their devices can easily make a reservation by simply sending a text message to '##7878' with the model name, capacity, and color.

To celebrate the launch of the iPhone 8, KT is running an iPhone special trade-in promotion that buys out existing iPhones at a particularly high price regardless of the carrier. It will be available for a limited time for two weeks from November 3, when iPhone 8 activation begins, to November 17, and the eligible models are from iPhone 5S to iPhone 7.

KT is introducing 'iPhone 8 Change-Up (12/18 months),' an exclusive program that allows customers purchasing an iPhone 8 to receive trade-in benefits for their used phones. LG Uplus is introducing the 'iPhone 8 Used Phone Price Guarantee Program,' which guarantees up to 40% of the original price to iPhone 8 customers who return their used device after 18 months and upgrade to a new iPhone series released after the iPhone 8.

The monthly fee for the program is 2,200 won (including VAT), and customers using a plan with a monthly payment of 65,890 won or more can receive a discount on the full fee in membership points.

LG Uplus is running a promotion that provides up to 12 months of free usage fees for its loss/damage insurance product. Customers who purchase an iPhone by December 31 and sign up for the 'iPhone Loss/Damage Compensation 85' (maximum compensation of 850,000 KRW) product will receive a full discount on the insurance premium. The monthly payment for this product is 5,800 KRW, allowing users to use the service for free by receiving a total of 69,600 KRW in premiums waived over 12 months. However, this is subject to the condition of applying for installment purchase and automatic payment using the affiliated discount card, 'LG U+ Light Plan Shinhan Card Big Plus'.

Customers who purchase the iPhone 8 through LG Uplus’ official online store, ‘U+Shop,’ can receive an additional 7% discount on usage fees in addition to the official subsidy or selective contract discount.

SK Telecom is conducting pre-orders on the online homepage of its official online store, 'T World Direct,' as well as through KakaoTalk Plus Friends 'SK telecom,' 'T World Direct,' and 'i Talk.' Customers who pre-order through T World Direct can choose one of the 'T Gifts,' which includes a 30,000 won discount coupon for Apple AirPods, a case, or a power bank.

SK Telecom is introducing 'T iPhone Club 8' for customers awaiting the release of the iPhone X and next year's new products.

'T iPhone Club 8' is a program that allows you to upgrade to a new iPhone or iPhone X after 12 months of membership. The monthly fee is 3,190 won (including VAT), and depending on the plan, the fee may be waived if you receive a membership discount.
