Check for color vision deficiency and its degree and correct the TV color.

Samsung Electronics will apply the 'SeeColors' app, which diagnoses color vision deficiency and corrects the screen so that people with color vision deficiency can properly see the colors displayed on TV, to all QLED TV models and premium UHD TVs released after March 2017, in all regions.

Samsung Electronics launched the 'SeeColors' app in three European countries, Hungary, Romania, and Bulgaria, earlier this year to provide a full-color TV viewing environment for color blind people, and announced that starting on the 27th of this month, this service will be available to customers around the world.

'SeeColors' is a TV app developed by Samsung Electronics in collaboration with the Hungarian company 'Colorlite'. It diagnoses 10 types of color vision deficiency to determine the presence and severity of the user's color vision deficiency with over 90% accuracy, and based on the diagnosis results, it adjusts the TV's color display to suit the user.

'C-Colors' can be downloaded from 'Apps', the app store exclusive to Samsung Smart TVs, or through Galaxy Apps or Google Play on smartphones with Galaxy S6 models or higher.

Kim Hyung-nam, executive director of Samsung Electronics' Visual Display Business Division, said, "We hope that by expanding the models and regions where the SeeColors app is available, more people with color vision deficiency will be able to experience the rich world of color that Samsung TVs provide." He added, "We will continue to strive to ensure that more customers can enjoy the convenience that Samsung Electronics' technology and innovation provide."
