Wide range tweeter speakers expand the sweet spot

Samsung Electronics announced that it will unveil a new slim soundbar product (NW700) at CES 2018, which will be held in Las Vegas, USA starting on the 9th of next month.

This product is a wall-mounted TV speaker in the shape of a bar, and its special feature is that it is 41% thicker than the existing product, at 53.5mm, so it can be used to create an interior that harmonizes with the TV.

Additionally, despite its thin thickness, the soundbar body has a total of 7 speaker units built into it, including 4 'woofers' that produce low sounds, to implement powerful 3-channel surround sound.


In particular, the 'Wide-range Tweeter' speaker unit expands the sweet spot, which is the optimal location for enjoying sound.

In addition, this product features the proprietary 'Distortion Cancelling' algorithm developed by Samsung Electronics' Audio Lab in the United States, which predicts the movement of the speaker unit in real time to reduce sound distortion and adjust the movement of the woofer to create magnificent bass sounds.

This product supports various sound modes, including a standard mode, a surround mode that provides three-dimensional sound effects, and a smart mode that analyzes the video and sound being watched and automatically sets the appropriate sound effects (voice, sports, music, movies), so you can hear optimized sound depending on the situation.
