'Easy cooking mode' technology considering the trend of consumers preferring convenience food

Samsung Electronics has released the '2018 Direct Fire Oven' equipped with 'HMR Easy Cooking Mode' and 'Range Output Control' functions.

This product is characterized by its ability to cook over 10 types of convenient meals, including frozen dumplings, tteokgalbi, and pizza, which are preferred by single-person and dual-income households.

The 'HMR Easy Cooking Mode' applied to the '2018 Direct Fire Oven' not only has a simple operation method of pressing a dedicated button and entering the cooking time, but also uses a 'composite heat source' that uses a range and grill heater together to bring out the original flavor of easy-to-cook food.

Additionally, a 'range output control' function has been added that can be adjusted in 6 to 7 steps from 100W (watts) to a maximum of 800W, allowing for customized heating for each ingredient. For example, when heating rice, soup, etc., use maximum output, and when melting butter, ice cream, etc., set a low output of 100W (watts) to prevent overcooking.

The upper part of the cooking chamber features a wider and tighter 'Wide Dual Grill' that evenly heats a large surface area of food and cooks it without any undercooked areas.



Samsung Electronics' proprietary technology, 'direct heat air', is applied to blow powerful hot air from up to 72 holes, so the outside is crispy and the inside is moist.

In addition, it also provides a ‘well-being frying’ function that allows frying without oil.

This product is released in 8 models with capacities ranging from 28 to 35 liters, and the factory price is 650,000 to 750,000 won for the 35-liter premium large oven, 470,000 to 520,000 won for the 32-liter compact oven, and 370,000 won for the 28-liter economical oven.
