Lattice announced the release of Lattice Radiant, its low-power FPGA software. Lattice Radiant software supports the iCE40 UltraPlus FPGA, expanding its application range across market segments including mobile, consumer, industrial, and automotive. The iCE40 UltraPlus device is the world's smallest FPGA capable of always-on, distributed processing by supporting enhanced memory and DSPs. Lattice Radiant software is currently available for free download.

Lattice Radiant software provides a design environment that enhances the productivity and user experience of designs utilizing the iCE40 UltraPlus FPGA. Additionally, the IP ecosystem infrastructure provides expanded IP cores for the iCE40 UltraPlus device family for various applications such as IoT sensor bridging, 8:1 microphone aggregation, and facial recognition.

Lattice Radiant software enables predictable design convergence through an integrated design database, design options, and timing analysis. It allows editing with an intuitive GUI, simplified logic, and physical design constraints. It also supports industry-standard IEEE 1735 encryption with IP protection capabilities.
