New products introduced including ThinkPad X series, T series, and E series
Each product has features such as light weight, security, and improved productivity.

Lenovo Korea announced the launch of a total of 13 new ThinkPad series products, including the ThinkPad X1 Carbon 6th generation, ThinkPad X1 Yoga (2-in-1) 3rd generation, X280 and X380 Yoga, and ThinkPad T series T580, T480s, and T480.

The ThinkPad X Series is a premium business notebook with thin and light weight, long-lasting battery performance, sophistication, and security performance. It has a sophisticated black logo and uses the 8th generation Intel quad-core CPU to deliver higher performance than the previous generation. The optional IR camera's Glance technology automatically focuses the cursor and launches Windows through eye tracking, realizing more intuitive and productive interactions.

The X1 Carbon 6th generation is a 14-inch lightweight product weighing 1.13 kg that supports up to 15 hours of battery life. It can be charged up to 80% in less than an hour from a discharged state, and it guarantees productivity and security with hardware-based security features such as ThinkShutter on the front webcam, fingerprint reader, Cortana Premium, and mechanical docking station.


The biggest feature of the X1 Yoga 3rd generation product is its 360-degree flexibility. The rise and fall keyboard applied to the new product adjusts to the user, such as by raising the keys in notebook mode to make it easy to handle work, and lowering and locking the keys when folded in tablet mode. It also includes a rechargeable pen, the ThinkPad Pen Pro.

The ThinkPad T series is a business notebook that has passed 12 US Department of Defense tests and over 200 product quality tests to provide consistent performance in any work environment. The new T580, T480s, and T480 have built-in FIDO authentication to protect user information and authentication information. Among these, the T580 and T480 models can be replaced with a fully charged battery without turning off the notebook through Power Bridge technology, and the touchscreen option can be added to improve productivity.

The ThinkPad E series offers standard products tailored for small and medium-sized businesses. The new E580 and E480 are equipped with Intel’s 8th generation Core i7 processor and AMD Radeon RX 550 2GB discrete graphics to quickly perform tasks. They support up to 32GB DDR4 memory, up to 13 hours of battery life, and the Windows 10 Pro operating system.

To celebrate the launch of the 2018 new products in various ThinkPad series, Lenovo Korea is offering a 30% discount on additional options for all new ThinkPad models when purchased through the official Lenovo website. In particular, customers who purchase the ThinkPad X1 series (X1 Carbon, X1 Yoga) will receive a 128GB micro SD card as a gift.
