KT Launches Yanadoo English Service Using AI Speaker Giga Genie
“We will expand English education services through AI speaker Giga Genie”

KT announced that it has launched the 'Yanadu English Service' on its artificial intelligence speaker Giga Genie. This service consists of 127 lectures that teach appropriate sentences for each situation. Each lecture is 1 to 3 minutes long, so it can be conveniently used when getting ready for work, having spare time, or studying basic English. There are 12 categories including travel, food, transportation, airport, etc. and they are taught by popular instructors from Yanadoo.

If you say 'Run Yanadoo English' on Giga Genie, you can listen to a different Yanadoo English conversation lecture in audio every day and check the English sentences that appear in the lecture on the TV screen.



In addition to listening to the lecture, if you want to know English phrases used in a specific situation, you can select a topic and then say something like “Expressions used on airplanes” or “Expressions used when you are upset” to find out the specific situation.

Starting with this beginner English service, KT and Yanado will establish a cooperative system to discover English education services suitable for AI speakers and will continue to provide content that can be conveniently studied at home in stages.

Earlier, in February of this year, KT formed a strategic partnership with Yanadoo and introduced a responsive advertisement that provided time-related English information when you asked Giga Genie about the time, a first in the industry.

In January of this year, we signed a business partnership with Pagoda Education Group and launched the 'Pagoda Life English Service', which allows you to learn English at home in the same way as you would at an English academy. We are focusing on strengthening English learning content that customers find useful by utilizing Gigagenie's advantage of providing information through both audio and visual simultaneous channels.
