Official product launch in late April, a product fused with Inisafe Nexus

KT announced that it has jointly developed the 'KT Blockchain Single Sign-On (SSO)' solution with Initech, a company specializing in information security and financial IT services. Initech will officially launch the product at the end of April.

The 'KT Blockchain Integrated Authentication' solution is a product that combines KT's blockchain technology with Initech's authentication solution, 'INISAFE Nexess'. Existing 'INISAFE Nexess' customers can use it through a product upgrade.

'Inisafe Nexus' is a solution that supports integrated authentication in various work environments such as web, client/server, and mobile, and through the 'KT Blockchain Integrated Authentication' solution, authentication information and account information are distributed and stored on the blockchain.

Since blockchain-stored information is shared among each node in real-time, the cost of server redundancy for backups is reduced, and security is enhanced through mutual data verification between blockchain nodes. Additionally, management efficiency is improved as the operation of data storage solutions becomes unnecessary.

In the future, Initech plans to propose upgrades to approximately 100 existing Initech customers in the public and financial sectors to expand the 'KT Blockchain Integrated Authentication' solution, and to pursue sales to secure new customers. In addition, KT plans to expand the application of its blockchain integrated authentication solution so that it can replace identification cards in various fields, not just for corporate integrated authentication.

Meanwhile, KT launched a blockchain center this year and is expanding the application areas of blockchain. Last July, it developed the world's first electronic signature image management system using KT's blockchain technology, and in February of this year, it extended the application of blockchain to BC Card's electronic document management system.
