SK Hynix has secured international recognition for its commitment to compliance by simultaneously obtaining international certifications for compliance management and anti-corruption equipment.

SK Hynix announced on the 21st that it had simultaneously obtained certification for both the compliance management standard (ISO 37301) and the anti-corruption management standard (ISO 37001) from the British Standards Institution (BSI).

As global demand for corporate ESG management grows, SK Hynix has been pursuing evaluations by a global certification agency for its established compliance and anti-corruption management system.

SK Hynix explained, “Based on the compliance system currently in operation, we have successfully completed the preparation process and evaluation, and have been recognized by BSI, a credible organization, for our achievements in establishing a management system that meets international standards,” adding, “We are the first domestic semiconductor company to have obtained both certifications.”

On this day, a certification ceremony was held at SK Hynix Bundang Campus, and BSI Korea CEO Lim Seong-hwan, SK Hynix Vice President Kim Yun-wook (in charge of sustainable management), and Vice President Park Soo-man (in charge of ethical management) attended the event.

Vice President Kim said, “With this certification as an opportunity, the company will strengthen its preventive measures against risks related to compliance with domestic and international regulations, and we expect that our members will voluntarily participate in eradicating corruption.” He added, “We will continue to strive to become a global company.” “We will strive to grow into a semiconductor company trusted by stakeholders based on the highest level of corporate governance,” he said.
