“Evolution of on-device AI in automobiles requires high-performance and high-capacity memory”
강욱성 SK하이닉스 부사장은 14일 JW메리어트 서울에서 개최된 ‘제7회 인공지능반도체포럼 조찬강연회’에서 ‘AI 시대에서의 지능형 차량 메모리-스토리지 발전 방향’에 대해 발표하며, 자동차가 ADAS에서의 인공지능 추론을 하고, 콕핏에서 LLM 기반 온디바이스 AI를 사용하고, 자율주행에서 로보틱스를 가장 먼저 선도적으로 도입하는 등 AI 기능들을 가장 빠르게 상용화 시켜 나가고 있어 향후 고성능, 고용량 차량용 메모리 스토리지에 대한 필요성이 급격히 증대하고 있다고 밝혔다.
