KICT will be responsible for urban infrastructure-linked flood prediction and control technologies, while KIGAM will manage 4D urban geological environment-based geological disaster response platforms.

KRRI will develop extreme rainfall response technologies for railroad infrastructure, expanding cooperation scope to urban transportation safety fields.

Jang Yoon-seop, principal researcher at ETRI's Disaster Safety ADX Research Center, stated, "We expect AI and digital technologies to become key means of protecting citizens' lives and property," and added, "ETRI will concentrate its ICT technology capabilities in making Busan a representative model of a climate crisis response smart safe city."
