Samsung Electronics Wins 38 Awards at CES 2016, Including TV and Mobile Sectors

Samsung Electronics swept various awards at CES 2016, the world's largest consumer electronics exhibition, with innovative products in home entertainment, home appliances, mobile, and the Internet of Things. It won a total of 38 ‘CES Innovation Awards,’ including the 2016 Smart TV that won the ‘Best Innovation Award,’ as well as TVs (9), AVs (3), home appliances (7), mobiles (12), and semiconductors (5).
It also received favorable reviews from leading media outlets, including the home appliance review site Reviewed.com.
Reviewed.com selected the new Samsung SUHD TV KS9500 series as an 'Editor's Choice' and stated, “It further builds upon the success of the 2015 SUHD TV with even more dazzling brightness, Quantum Dot color, and a new Smart Hub,” adding that “it is perfect for playing all HDR content.”
TechRadar also selected the SUHD TV series featuring Quantum Dot displays as the best "Best of TV" at CES, stating, "The SUHD TV is the TV that best encapsulates the concept of next-generation TV," and adding, "It has superior performance compared to any other models currently available."
The soundbar (model name: HW-K950) unveiled by Samsung Electronics at CES received favorable reviews on-site for implementing 3D spatial sound that extends the direction of sound not only up, down, left, and right but also to the ceiling.
In particular, major magazines such as Reviewed.com and ZDNet stated, “With the HW-K950 soundbar, it has become very easy to enjoy sound at home that is just like what you hear in a movie theater,” and “The sound provided by the HW-K950 soundbar is fantastic.”
Samsung 'Paper' with IoT featuresThe 'Milli Hub' refrigerator received favorable reviews, winning more than eight awards, including Reviewed.com's 'Editor's Choice' and Marshable's 'Best Tech of CES'. In addition, the Galaxy Tab Pro S won Engadget's 'Best of CES' and was selected as a top product by PC Magazine, TechRadar, and others. Accordingly, Samsung Electronics stated that the response from visitors who experienced firsthand the amazing performance, smart features, and IoT capabilities of Samsung products at CES 2016 was extremely enthusiastic.
