KT announced that it is officially launching LG Electronics' flagship smartphone, the 'LG G5,' through Olleh stores nationwide and its directly managed online store, 'Olleh Shop.'

The launch price of the G5 is 836,000 won (including VAT), and it will be released in four colors: gold, pink, silver, and titanium.

KT is running an event until June that offers a free rental of the '360 CAM' to customers who purchase the G5 and subscribe to an international roaming plan, allowing them to create enjoyable memories with the G5. The free rental is available after signing up for an international roaming plan online or at the Incheon Airport Roaming Center. Additionally, high-quality music can be listened to for free in the dedicated G5 section within the Media Pack app until April, and users can experience various Friends features and have a chance to win Friends prizes.

Through a partnership with Danal Ssocio, KT will offer the first 500 customers who apply after purchasing a G5, starting at 10:00 AM on April 1, the opportunity to try one of the G5 Friends products (Hi-Fi Plus, 360 Cam, 360 VR) for free for 10 days. You can apply through the Socio app, and if you wish to purchase after the free trial, you can buy it at a 10% discounted price.

In addition, KT is partnering with Auction to hold the 'Auction Exclusive' event from April 4 to 14, limited to 500 units. Customers who purchase KT's G5 through the 'Auction Exclusive' section on Auction will receive additional benefits, such as a 20% credit card partnership discount on the payment amount and 20-month interest-free installments (when paying with Hyundai/Shinhan SmilePay).

When purchasing the G5 from KT, you can receive additional device discounts by utilizing Olleh Membership points (up to 50,000 won) and credit card points. Additionally, by using the 'Super Installment Card' or 'Super DC Card,' you can receive up to 360,000 won in communication fee discounts over two years. Furthermore, through a partnership with KB Kookmin Card, the first 500 customers who purchase the G5 by April 10 and sign an installment plan using the KB Kookmin Super Save Card or Super Installment Card will receive a 100,000 won cashback.

KT's G5 comes equipped with 'GiGA LTE' as standard, allowing users to access data at GiGA-level speeds when using the Y24 599 plan or the Data Select plan of 599 or higher. Additionally, customers aged 24 or younger who use the 'Y24 plan' can use unlimited data (2GB daily + up to 3Mbps) for 3 consecutive hours every day at the same price as the existing Data Select plan, and access content such as Genie Pack and Olleh TV Mobile Daily Pack at half price.

Meanwhile, LG Electronics is holding a '16-Day Special Purchase Benefits' event to coincide with the launch of the G5. Customers who purchase by April 15 and complete the application through the 'G5 Gift Pack' app will receive a camera module and an additional battery pack for free, along with a discount coupon for a Hi-Fi module and B&O earphones.
