TI Implements 4K Projector with 90% Smaller DLP® Display Controller
Texas Instruments (TI) has enabled compact designs for consumer applications such as lifestyle or gaming projectors and augmented reality glasses with a new DLP® controller that is 90% smaller. TI's DLPC8445 display controller measures 9mm x 9mm, making it the smallest in its class while operating with ultra-low latency and delivering sharp image quality even on large displays of 100 inches or more.
