Infineon Forecasts GaN Market to Reach $3 Billion by 2030… Expanding Applications in AI and Robotics
인피니언 테크놀로지스가 연례 보고서 ‘GaN 인사이트 2026’을 통해 GaN(갈륨 나이트라이드) 전력 반도체 시장이 2030년 약 30억 달러 규모로 성장할 수 있다고 제시했다. 보고서는 2026년 시장 규모를 9억2000만 달러로 추산하며, 2025년(5억8400만 달러) 대비 58% 성장할 것으로 전망했다. 인피니언은 고전압 GaN 양방향 스위치(BDS)에 더블 게이트 구조의 공통 드레인 설계를 적용해, 기존 백투백 구성 대비 다이 크기 축소가 가능하다고 설명했다. 또한 GaN 적용 분야가 AI 데이터센터, 로보틱스, 전기차, 신재생에너지와 디지털 헬스·양자컴퓨팅 등으로 확장되고 있다고 밝혔다.
